Welcome to the Newport Rhode Island Man of the Year Competition.
Over the course of the next year, 10 men will compete to determine which of them is the best, in the areas of strength, speed, intellect, sports, drinking, and plain dumb luck. From this competition, a winner will emerge. One worthy of being declared Man of the Year!
Follow their exploits as they battle for supremacy. The thrill of victory, and the agony of defeat.

Next Event:
The 2009-2010 Man of the Year Competition has been completed. We'll be posting a special event page with photos and write-up from our awards ceremony, which will be held at a local All-You-Can-Eat Brazilian BBQ place! Stay tuned for the awards ceremony and Year One summary page.
